6. Financial report – Laurie reported $4223.49 in savings.    Additions to balance came from a Leonard Gallagher donation, one membership, Englehart prints and cards sold, $291 proceeds from Jersey Jim auction, and $48 in-library book sales.    Outlays were as follows: renewal of Friends’ PO box for one year, and a $2874 bill for paving the library parking lot.    Ending balance in checking is $6404.81, with a total balance of $10,628.30.    It was pointed out that the $291 listed on the report was incorrectly attributed to Englehart Paypal receipts. Laurie will amend the report to reflect the Jersey Jim proceeds were $291. Miriam reported that the Library Board appreciates Friends’ payment of the parking lot upgrade and outdoor classroom.    Miriam will act as liaison to the library board and report to the board of Friends’ activities.   Silvia moved to approve the corrected financial report, and Koko seconded. All approved.
